I just came back from semarang, a traditional yet pleasing city that my grandparents live in. It was a lengthy trip considering there is limited activities to do there but yet it gave me a precious experience that i will treasure in life. I was not particularly close to my opa since young, maybe i was too comfortable in my oma's presence. Always thought that he's a pensive, serious old man who lacks interest in bonding with his grandchildren. But yet i was gravely mistaken, he's actually a caring, contented and blessed man i must say. If not for this chance, i would have never known this side of him and developed a certain care and empathy.
Time really flies, the year is coming to an end, another year begins, with a hopeful heart that there are more great things coming to my life. Oh ya and the joyful event of the year, Christmas passed a few days back, the day we should all rejoice to, for it is the day where Jesus was born, His only son borne to atone for all of our sins. Martina was down with fever that day which was a pity cause after sermon we spent most of our hours of the day in the hotel room movie marathoning with matthew, mike and cella. Yet i feel happy somehow with such a simple day, i guess at the end of the day it is all about how we want to perceive the situation. Carpe diem babehhhh.
Lets say that 2012 has been an eye opening year for me, with alot of first time to many things. But im glad it all happened although in my opinion its not the right timing, but if God allowed it to happen, i should trust that it is the perfect time, for me to learn some lessons from it. But through every single ups and downs this year, He remains faithful and thankfully, i never lost hope. So much memories and events that i guess i'll never forget but next year is gonna be even better. Cheers.
p.s: since im in jakarta, i'll be a homey girl and gym to avoid getting fatter by day cause the food here are soooooo fingerlickin good.
