I was sitting there on the couch of the hospital waiting room thinking if i should ever blog about this, but i decided i should.
Many times i yearned for normalcy to set in again but yet that is a very selfish thought to begin with. But above all i believe all these challanges with both my grandfather being hospitalised and one in critical near death situation has taught me a very meaningful lesson, that you can always depend on your family and how important it is that i should never ever take them for granted. Simultaenously, it is also a very crucial period for me, in 2 weeks time i would be sitting for my alevels, yet my heart is unsettled. I wouldnt mind sitting there for hours, being there for my whole big family instead of studying but yet i have to prioritise and study too. I havent been studying as much as what an alevel student should have although at times it bugs my conscience, i know that being there holds a greater meaning there is to studying. God's grace is more than enough and when one day i look back at this space, i know i have so much thanks to give to God for His undying mercy for me. My alevels and all i put it all in His hands, im nothing without Him, really. Maybe its a lesson for me to sit back and study still but let Him do His miracles. Life in its own form is so fragile, we have to treasure it.
But yet im glad that through this journey, some of the most precious angels have surfaced. Surprisingly, the people who were the most encouraging and always there are my church friends albeit i spent the least times with them amongst my friends. Guilty, i took them for granted at times. And yet you know they were the one who constantly gave me support and encouragement. Friends are these are like diamonds in the rough. Maybe considering i didnt open up to any other friends, worst still i didnt tell my secondary school friends at all. But all these have taught me a meaningful lesson to always treasure my friends and give thanks for them although you may not be in a very desirable situation. I can never thank God enough for giving me still an opportunity to revise a little bit of my work everytime im in the hospital and for these angels in my life. Giving me an opportunity to be stronger through every problems, to be there for my parents and affect their lives.
I know that through every problems that arrive, let it be an opportunity for joy for when your faith is tested, my endurance will grow.
I know He has a plan, a great one for me. :)
